NOT FADE AWAY is my best written book to date. BMB is working hard to get it out for WHC in Austin. It should be up for pre-order soon. Great cover by Steve Gilberts (don't know how to place it here for a look). Gene

Thanks, John. Ofc I'm talking "today." Haven't finished THE CONFESSIONS OF ST. ZACH, which *may* top 'em all. We'll see. Appreciate your support my friend. Gene

For mmdh55 and others who my care. I'm holding off on doing any TPBs of my novels brought out by BMB, including NOT FADE AWAY. My agent thinks that s/l hardbacks don't hurt his marketing of my stuff to NYC mass market publishers, but TPBs might. But I figure if he doesn't have some success soon, we'll begin doing some BMB TPBs beginning with LOST TRIBE and continuing through them all. So the long winded answer is NO right now. But YES probably beginning in 2012. Ofc I realize the bite to a book budget of a s/l hardback. Sorry . Gene

I'm waiting till Austin so I can it personalized. I am having so much trouble trying to decide which books to pack and carry from Australia to Austin to have signed by authors. But you can bet your ass there will be at least one O'Neill in that list. Maybe an ARC...something a little more obscure than a published and already signed book.

This book really has my attention!
I am trying to pick and choose books that I want and I want this! The story sounds fab, I like it when you feel for a character etc and this looks like a winner.
Jason.

Jason: My first readers--three of em, two pretty decent writers--all agreed that NFA was a good read. A little humor, a little inspiration, and of course some horrorific dark moments. It has the same basic story arc of FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON. If you read it, Jason, I'll be interested in your reaction. And as an athlete, sportsman, you'll get a kick out of this. I plan on wearing my two Giants tee-shirts around Austin at WHC. Hope those Texans don't lynch me. Gene

Hope not. We lived in Dallas in the late sixties. The service manager where we bought our Firebird gave a customer a hard time. Wouldn't release his car. Uh-huh. Dude went home, came back, and shot the service manager dead...But that was in the old wild west sixties. Gene
