Heck, Chris, ole Buddy came from down Texas way, too. Gene Yup, outta Lubbock, ol' Buddy. Willie Nelson started out pretty close to where I'm at too. My wife's grandfather produced his very 1st record for him under the Sarge Records imprint. My father in law still has the entire record shop over in Luling, Tx. The place is near falling down, but the inventory is still there. All those old records...there's no telling what's in there. People come from all over the world to look at the place though. Interesting stuff. ~C

Thanks, Chris. I'm delighted when someone--especially a someone with good taste--likes my stuff. Hope you enjoy LOST TRIBE just as much. For folks who don't know the Northern California Coast well, it might be surprising. Gene

Thanks, John. Glad you enjoyed it, sad or not. I think I mentioned it had THE GOOD EARTH or FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON story arc that made be sad or just the way it is/should be. An ending like this obviously isn't contrived or manipulated. Gene

Thanks, Steve, I'm delighted you liked NOT FADE AWAY. That's always accompanied with a sigh of relief when the book in question was a limed/signed hard back because the reader has a substantial financial investment. Appreciate your feedback. Gene
