O'Neill update

As in the last few years we have much to look forward to from Mr. Gene O'Neill

I thought I would update what I have coming out, when(approximately), and a word or two about what I'm working on.
Coming up: Out from BMB is JADE, another Cal Wild novella. Up for pre-order from Sideshow Press a chapbook with two stories: FIONA & GRAMS. Out 9-11 will be a novel from BMB, DEATHFLASH. Out soon the lettered from BMB of DOC GOOD'S TRAVELING SHOW. Out soon thereafter the three boxed lettered set of SHADOW, DOUBLE JACK & DEATHFLASH from BMB. Out around the first of the year the lettered for JADE from BMB. Out just after the first of the year a tpb of DOUBLE JACK by SSP, followed by a Cal Wild chapbook from SSP, CHRONICLES OF THE DOUBLE SPARROW. Out first quarter of 2011, a collection from BMB, DANCE OF THE BLUE LADY & Other Stories. Shortly after that a limited edition novel from BMB, NOT FADE AWAY. Around the end of 2011/beginning 2012 BMB will be bringing out in limited HB the CAL WILD Series, which will include THE BURDEN OF INDIGO, a prequel, THE CONFESSIONS OF ST. ZACH, and a sequel, CAL WILD-- all the stories, novelettes, and novellas in chronological order and linked with short narratives.
I'm working on THE CONFESSIONS OF ST. ZACH (half done) which will lead in nicely, I think, to CAL WILD.
Oh, I still have four or five short stories coming out the end of this year and first of next.
Future plans: *Maybe* working on a pair of novellas, collaborating with two excellent writers after the first of the year--we'll see.

I met with my agent at Killercon. As many of you know selling something to the mass market folks is tough right now. But there is a glimmer of interest in my stuff, and maybe...I say maybe, some good news to report down the line. We'll see. Fingers crossed. One way
or another I'm plugging away at projects steadily. About 60 % done with THE CONFESSIONS OF ST. ZACH.

I've been dealing with a family health issue, but am back at the grind. About two thirds finished with THE CONFESSIONS OF ST. ZACH (I think it may be a good one). It's the prequel to THE BURDEN OF INDIGO in the CAL WILD SEQUENCE, which ends with all the novellas, novelettes, and short stories collected in CAL WILD--they will appear linked with short narratives in chronological order.
Next out will be DEATHFLASH, a Green Hornet & Cato novel, from BMB. Next month or so. Shortly thereafter BMB will release the lettered boxed set including SHADOW, DF, and a novella DOUBLE JACK. Before the end of the year the lettered of DOC GOOD'S TRAVELING should appear with the bonus Cal Wild story, "Nostalgia." Sometime soon after that--maybe just into 2011--the lettered for JADE will be up with the bonus Cal Wild novelette, THE HUNGRY SKULL. By then I hope to have ZACH finished, a little brush-up on INDIGO completed, and working on the linking narratives for CAL WILD.
VeryrRecently another mass market publisher asked my agent for a look at the 3-book proposal for THE CAL WILD SEQUENCE. Even after requesting a look it takes months to get an answer, and they are not buying much right now. Fingers crossed on that.
I'm hoping to get to WHC in Austin in April next year--finances will determine.

TASTE OF TENDERLOIN appeared last year only as a trade paperback. I'm negotiating with a good specialty press to bring it out in a *relatively* inexpensive limited/signed hard back and a deluxe hardback with an additional Tenderloin story, another introduction, and a slightly expanded Afterword. More on this after I see the contracts.

OHH, I know this Publisher! Man are they on a roll. I love to get this book as a limited

Mention of wrap around cover gives me ideas as to who the publisher might be...but I'll wait and hope.
