That reminds me, I need to read more Lansdale! lol The King books, I've read at the very least, two times each.
Size doesn't matter, man. We've all heard that one before. lol But collections have a way of hitting puberty without you even noticing. Before you know it, you'll be looking into glass front bookcases. :-)

Everyone needs to read more Lansdale. The man is a god to me. King was the first writer to really make me fall in love with storytelling, will always be special to me.
I do hae one glass-fronted, two shelf bookcase that I got at a thrift store, and I love it. I will take more picks, the whole back bedroom is dedicated to my books.
And "size doesn't matter" is almost always a lie. ;-P

You seem to feel the same way about Lansdale as I do Laymon. I have still never read Lansdale, but my friend loaned me two paperbacks. High Cotton and The Bottoms.
Are these good ones to start with?
And I have only read two King books... Looks like I just need to pull up a nice comfy recliner in front of your book shelf. I know it sounds creepy, but as long as you don't give me alcohol after midnight, I am not really all that bad.

jonah, those are two EXCELLENT Lansdale's to start with. One of his best collections and one of his best novels.
Oh, I enjoy me some Laymon too, maybe next time I'll post my pics of his books.
No alcohol after midnight? I don't remember that rule for the Gremlins.

I don't have any photos of mine (consisting of 11 bookcases, 9 of which are lawyer-style bookcases that line the walls of my office/library), but I do have my collection posted on-line here for anyone interested in virtual browsing: home.comcast.net/~clinton65/book_database.htmlOn a side note, since this is my first post, I'll also let this serve as my introduction.

Thanks for the welcome, sideous. Well, as luck would have it, I found a couple shots that I did a year or two ago. They show off only seven of the 11 bookcases, but it's better than nothing, I suppose.
