Way to go Chris! I would almost kill to have somewhere set up in the house in such a way, to showcase books and artwork. Alas, I have to spreadh them all over the house where ever I can find room for a bookcase. And I hope I am not speaking out ot turn here for Chris, but a lot of the artwork in the early photos is actually Chris's own work. He and Fran are two of the nicest people I've been lucky enough to make friends with from my collecting. [Hopefully this is suitable sucking up...never know when they'll start selling off books, and I need to have a chance at the front of the queue. ]

One question, ChrisHansen...what is that big-ass book with the wicked image of the train on the cover that is sitting on the right side of your desk?

One question, ChrisHansen...what is that big-ass book with the wicked image of the train on the cover that is sitting on the right side of your desk? That looks like a traycased edition of Knowing Darkness: Artists Inspired by Stephen King by Centipede Press. Fantastic collection you've got there Chris

Having seen Chris's collection, I'd be too embarrassed to post mine. It's not just the books and other collectibles, the whole room looks amazing.

Thank you, all! But, Leigh, you're gonna have to do better than that! We all know how impressive your collection is! Always a pleasure looking over your collection, too, H. I'm always fascinated by what books others collect. And it's a kick to see where are tastes overlap. Oh, and to see Charlee Jacob so close to Robert E. Howard comforts me in seeing that I'm not the only oddball when it comes to organization! And, Sideous is correct about Knowing Darkness. It's a massive affair that requires multiple viewings. I love Centipede's attention to art, both in books like this and in their fiction reprints. Finally, Jason, don't be embarrassed to post your pics! It ain't about who's got the best this or that. It's about sharing what's important to you. Hell, I'm terribly embarrassed to reveal that I line my hallway with my own paintings (thanks, Leigh, ya bastard! ). But, I decided what the hell. Every time I enter our library I feel like a teenager all over again. Anyway, I hope you do share. Thanks, again, everyone. But now H and I have shown ours, who's next?

Wow, Chris, that's an unbelievable room! Like Leigh, I'd almost kill to have something resembling that space.
Thanks for sharing.
