Up In The Air Not the best George Clooney flick, but I liked it. Another Ep of Birds of Prey. Wish Fox had given this show a chance.

Right now I'm watching Exorcist III. A friend was kind of enough to send me a copy as I've never seen it. He speaks highly of the film, and I'm looking forward to getting into it.

Exorcist III was a very good movie. I liked how it was very different from the original, almost like a police procedural with possession, and some genuinely creepy moments. There is a confessional scene that I think is scarier than most anything I've seen, and it's nothing but dialogue. I do wish some of the music stings hadn't been so jarring and unnecessarily overdone. I think a lot of horror movies commit that sin, I think some scenes would play scarier without the music cues that try to tell us, "THIS IS SCARY." Anyway, I am surprised I hear so little about this movie, very solid and intriguing.

We watched Unbreakable again today...totally love that movie. Too bad M Knight is such a stuck up bastard he can't do the two other movies that go with it. It's so under-rated.

We watched Unbreakable again today...totally love that movie. Fantastic movie. One of my all-time faves. I get chills and a tear in my eye every time I watch the scene toward the end, when Bruce Willis pushes the newspaper across the breakfast table toward his son and they share that "knowing moment." Powerful, powerful stuff . . . and not a single word is spoken. As for what I've been watching (keeping with the "real-life superheroes" theme, coincidentally enough): the family and I just finished watching KICK-ASS. Freakin' loved it! J.N.

Watched a big bug movie, Infestation. Liked it a lot. The Duel At Silver Creek, an old western starring Audie Murphy and Lee Marvin. My mom took me to see it in '52 when I was 7. Loved it then and still like it now. Good "shoot 'em up."

You know, I've never seen this M Knight movie. I was really enamored of Sixth Sense when I first saw it, caught up in the twist, but upon subsequent viewing I found it didn't hold up to scrutiny. Signs I liked a lot. THe other movies I've seen by him I thought had great potential but didn't really live up to that potential. I will say, Unbreakable always has looked interesting to me but I've just never gotten around to it. I guess I need to rectify that.

Love this movie. Although it went under-appreciated for years, it seems to have developed into a bit of a cult hit over the years. It seems that more and more people are discovering that it's leaps and bounds above the craptacular second film in the series. One of my favorite scenes in it is the one shot down the hospital corridor... Exorcist III was a very good movie. LOL. While watching UNBREAKABLE, Billie and I also commented that the scene with the newspaper is our favorite. Great flick...it's a shame M. Knight has apparently lost his touch. I've watched KICK ASS three times in the past week. Lovin' this one. T We watched Unbreakable again today...totally love that movie. Fantastic movie. One of my all-time faves. The jarring unnecessary music sting ruins it for me. I find that with a lot of horror movies, they do these discordant music cues that scream "THIS IS A SCARY MOMENT" whereas I find most of them would be more chilling without that.

Versus. A Japanese kung-fu zombie movie. I couldn't turn it off. It probably could of been a real good movie if it was better made.
