Kick Ass. A fun movie, Hit Girl was awesome. I know there was some controversy regarding the violence at her hand, but I loved it. Reminded me in an odd way of THe Professional with young Natalie Portman being trained to be a hitman.

The Wolf Man. I loved it. Well acted, great cast and a great screenplay by Curt Siodmak. Finished watching The Unusuals and have begun watching the 1st Season of the UK's Skins. Fun.

LOVED The Wolf Man myself (and I wasn't sure I would as the original is one of my favs). Very well done and beautifully shot. I've actually watched it a couple times now, and I'm still digging it. I watched this movie called Pig Hunt about a rogue 3500 pound killer pig. He has a taste for human flesh.

You know, I've never seen this M Knight movie. I was really enamored of Sixth Sense when I first saw it, caught up in the twist, but upon subsequent viewing I found it didn't hold up to scrutiny. Signs I liked a lot. THe other movies I've seen by him I thought had great potential but didn't really live up to that potential. I will say, Unbreakable always has looked interesting to me but I've just never gotten around to it. I guess I need to rectify that. I liked "Signs" the first time I saw it but I couldn't disagree with the "review" I read a few years ago that still makes me laugh to this day. check it out at www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=signs.

Final Exam. Yes, I know it sucks, but it was filmed on the campus of the college I attended here in my hometown, Limestone College, so it holds a special place in my heart. I love how they try to make it not seem so tiny by having the last chick just run up and down, back and forth across campus, and I'm yelling at the screen, "If you pick any direction and run that way for a minute, YOU'RE OFF CAMPUS!!!!"

LOL. I still have to pick this up on DVD (I haven't seen it in years). I'm dying to rewatch it after reading some of your stories. Final Exam. On a side note, I watched a documentary called Snuff today. It was about the possible real existence of Snuff films. It had parts that seriously made me cringe. You can get it instantly right now on Netflix. Very intense though.

I bought the DVD when it first came out for like 15 bucks, then it went out of print fast and now you can only buy it used for jacked-up prices. If Joel ever gets his laptop fixed I'll see if we can burn a copy of it. It's kind of fun I think, in a really goofy cheesy way. And yes, you can actually see all the places I keep writing about. Plus that story I wrote as homage to the film and the school sort of brought us together and gave me a publisher, so I have double affection for it.
