here is one to stay away from...i dont normally put these on but i really disliked this film. it's called 'lake mungo' was part of the after dark horrorfest this year. it was just slow...very very slow and when it got to the end i felt empty as in if you go to an all you can eat place and all they have is one carrot stick...that has been sitting there for 5 months. seriously hated this film  shame cos i was really excited about it. |

Wow . . . I'd been hearing some good things about that one, Mark. Maybe I should lower my expectations a bit for when I finally get around to checking it out.

Wow . . . I'd been hearing some good things about that one, Mark. Maybe I should lower my expectations a bit for when I finally get around to checking it out. J.N. you may enjoy but i was expecting more. didn't watch trailer just the general story. when you watch it let me know what you think  |

I plan to rent Kick-Ass this weekend, despite my intense dislike of Nicholas Cage.

Kickass. Loved it. Nicholas Cage as Big Daddy was great as always and Hit Girl stole the show. She reminded me of a purple-haired female Chucky. Great action and bullets galore. Looking forward to a sequel.

I think a sequel has even more potential. You just don't see super heroes like that little girl! I don't want to be a spoiler but she had me laughing my ass off. |

Can't wait to see her in LET ME IN (I know, I know -- say what you will about remakes, and I'm probably setting myself up for a major disappointment because the original film is one of my favorites of all time, but I think this looks really decent!).

Glad you're diggin' it. I envy you, getting to see that show for the first time. Such wonderful characters, dark drama that sinks its teeth in you and won't let go . . . .
SIX FEET UNDER = my favorite TV show of all time. And I don't even watch TV, really.
My wife and I cried when it was over. Yeah, I just said that out loud, and I'm not ashamed of it.

I'm halfway through season 2 and am so in love with these deeply flawed and interesting characters. I don't know if anything will ever beat Buffy for me, but this show is amazingly powerful. I am very grateful to you James for turning me onto it. Although I keep missing sleep because we get a new disc from Netflix and I can't stop watching...
