Have fun for me, Gene. Maybe in another couple of years I may be able to get back to the US for another convention. You should try for New Orleans next year, Leigh.  I did mention that to the missus. Didn't get a bite for a family trip, but haven't pursued the solo trip option yet  |

John: Once upon a time my kids went to my first cons/readings. Now, they're too busy with their own kids etc. My wife hates cons/readings/signings and never goes. So I get my strokes from my readers family.

I will be at Killercon in Las Vegas. Panel, mass signing, and a reading.
Come to the reading and find out how to get a free book. 4:30 Friday afternoon.
And just stop me and say hello. I'm friendly, I think--even though I look a little beat-up.

The free books I'm bringing (16 or so) to Killercon include mostly out of print, rare stuff, including some Prime Books stuff, and two TPB copies of NEW DARK VOICES, and two s/l HB copies of DEATHFLASH. Be first to buy both my collection and Chris Marrs novella--inexpensive TPBs, and get to go through the box of free books (under Bad Moon Books table in Dealers' Room).

At Killercon, I signed all the Bad Moon Books pre-orders (and a few others he brought) for my collection, DANCE OF THE DARK LADY. Actually I signed my introduction for Chris Marrs's EVERYTHING LEADS BACK TO ALICE, and she signed the intro to BLUE LADY. So if you have been on the fence about ordering either, do it quickly and get a pair of signatures. I brought a handful of the Dark Regions Press release of the double novellas, THE BLUE HERON and Gord Rollo's THE CRUCIFIXION EXPERIMENTS.
