Gene - another con will happen eventually, I just hope we manage to both be at one. And yeah, let's aim for some more private time at the next meeting. Give me something to look forward to.

Leigh: No question, we need to share a meal. Why that didn't happen this time...? Not sure except I don't multiplex as well as I did a few years back.
Next con that I think I'm scheduled into is Killercon in Las Vegas in September. Nothing definite, but I loved the previous WHC at Salt Lake City, and this time there again includes the Stokers. I like Charlie and her crew. We'll see.

Got my eye on SLC, but I wish they hadn't moved it back a month. Last time, I returned home through blinding snow in the Wasatch Mountains and all through Wyoming. Maybe a train ride next time.

Leigh: We will definitely take some meal time together next time. And if you spent some time with gentleman bob, it was time well-spent, I's say.
It was fun finally putting a face to your name. I truly enjoyed the brief time we shared.

Next stop: Killercon in September. Bad Moon Books will be there offering some of my stuff. But I hope to have ample copies of two new and affordable trade paperbacks in hand by then: RUSTING CHICKENS and DOUBLEJACK.
Loved Rainman's take on the (ahem) professional women in Vegas--Sparkly, very sparkly. Looking forward to seeing *lots* of sparkly women again--I think their numbers are a good gage of how the economy is doing.

Hope so, John. I've done everything but talk Gord into going...I think I actually have to talk Deb into letting him go.
It would be difficult *not* to have a good time in Vegas. Hope you make it.

Looks like I'll have a primo reading spot on Saturday at 1:00 at Killercon (anything the afternoon before the mass signing usually translates in a few sales at that signing). I'll be pimping my latest stuff. May even let Gord, if he comes, pimp something of his. We'll see.
