Hey guys, I am just ecstatic to announce that my short story collection TALES FROM THE MIDNIGHT SHIFT VOL. I is now up for pre-order here. sideshowpressonline.com/?page_id=4&category=3&product_id=32 Only 50 copies are being produced, so by all means go reserve a copy. It's a affordable hardcover, 25 bucks, brimming with over a dozen stories. That's over a dozen fictional worlds for the price of one people! ;D Those of you who know me know that short stories are my passion, and having my own collection has long been a dream of mine. I am so excited about the release of this book I'm just about to explode. I can't wait to hold it in my hands, and to start getting feedback from readers. The book should be out sometime in April.

I should chime in too. I've received the book, and think that it looks great! The red/blue combo on the spine really stands out, especially with the Sideshow logo at the bottom. The cover material is a bit weird. It feels...weird, I don't recall having any other books that use this material, and I'm not sure if it will show wearmarks easily. In any case, it's a nice production. The remarque was a plus as well As far as the writing....well, I haven't read it yet, but it's towards the top of the TBR pile.

Hey, Steve...figured I'd chime in on the production. The material that you're speaking of is a matte finish. When you get a book like this printed, you generally have a choice of gloss or matte. We've used matte for years on publication like BLACK INK HORROR, the first HC chapbook set, and our first two limiteds, DIFFERENT SEASONS and HALF-SICK. I've always liked the feel of it... As for durability, our recent books have been bound in a more scuff-resistant film. Thanks again! Tom I should chime in too. I've received the book, and think that it looks great! Hey, Bill. I was doing a bit of experimentation with this new format, and one of the things I played with was having no signature sheet. Basically, I was trying to offer a lot of value with this series, and as a result, played with not having them signed. I also felt that it would speed up the printing process (in the grand scheme of things, it really didn't). We've discussed it and it is looking like future hardcovers in this format will be signed. Tom The book does look and FEEL fantastic! But, no sigs....??
