Joel and I watched Autumn and it was like 90 minutes, but we were positive we were watching for five years. It dragged, had horrible acting, and was just a ridiculous mess.

I really enjoyed MULBERRY STREET. I thought it had some cool ideas and was well done for a low-budget film. i thought house of the devil was fucking awesome. but i do have a think for old school horror recently. just the whole feel of the thing was like taking that retro trip down memory lane. i have recentlt seen (zombie virus on) Mulbery street, for fuck sake the UK dvd people have went and named it zombie virus on... when you guys in the US know it as Mulbery street. great film however if you was here and the uk and saw the title we have and you got no zombies i would be pretty fucked off. oh i love the film, i knew it wasn't about zombies as i saw it on the past horrorfest lists but i think that the uk dist people should of kept the original title

If I remember it correctly, they actually marketed it as a zombie film over here as well. I think the reason I enjoyed it so much is that I really wasn't a zombie movie. Still, that title is awful and misleading! I liked the simple MULBERY STREET. I really enjoyed MULBERRY STREET. It's a wonderful mix of humor and drama, great acting, and actors who look like real people. I highly recommend it. They are doing an American version I think...sure it will suck.

We saw Legion a few weeks ago...what a disappointment. I was totally stoked when I saw the preview but once we watched it, it was pretty lame. Book of Eli (not horror, I know...) was good. Especially if you're religious. If you're not a God-fearing person, don't bother because you won't be able to suspend your belief enough to enjoy it. Predators was okay. It could have been a lot more like the original, as in more gore, and Adrian Brody was acting the Arnold part even though we all know he's a helluva better actor than that...but still, it was okay. Machete is coming out...anyone that watched the Grindhouse Rodriguez flicks will remember it as one of the "fake" commercials...that looks entertaining, and Mila is back in another Resident Evil flick. We got Clash of the Titans a few days ago (I loved the orignal when I was a kid...kept having nightmares about Medusa...creepy) but haven't had a chance to watch it...we'll see. I'm digging your taste in movies so far Tom. I CAN'T wait to see the new Resident Evil! I love Mila! She is so awesome! She can sing, dance, act, model. Amazing woman. I saw Predators last week and thought it was fucking badass. Highly recommended. Loved the parts with Larry Fishburne in them also. Funny shit.

I liked Costner in Mr. Brooks. Not too bad as a rich guy nutso serial killer. Costner bores the crap out of me. I usually avoid anything he's in. . . . but I've *got* to see this. Not only is it based on one of my favorite short stories by one of my favorite authors, I'm hearing some really good things about it! Doubt I'll "blind buy" THE NEW DAUGHTER, but I'm definitely gonna have to rent this one . . . . J.N.
