While helping my parents clean their basement, I found a plastic bag with some of my old comic books from the 1970s. Now, my Spider-Man comics I collected are all in my attic, wrapped in plastic. I'd completely forgotten I also had collected Archie comics. Many were lost in a flood back in the 80s, but this one bag survived unharmed. While sorting through them (about 40 of them), I came across 3 surprising discoveries:
DC Ghosts True Tales of the Weird and Supernatural, Issue #1 (1972). On ebay a good condition copy sells for $80; this one is fair (a few wrinkles, pages are yellowing a bit). I'd be happy to part with it for $50.
DC Star Spangled War Stories Featuring the Unknown Soldier (issue 161) (1972). This one is in pretty good condition, and I'd let it go for $10.
Gold Key Ripley's Believe it or Not True Ghost Stories, issue 90208-210 (1972). This one is in fair condition (a few wrinkles) and I am only asking $5.
