Brian Knight's novel Broken Angel is a beautifully haunting story with top-notch characterization and almost pitch-perfect pacing. Also his novella "King of Souls" is incredibly powerful, just a gut-wrenching tale with emotions so real you would swear it's happening to you. And for pure fun and pleasure for us slasher fans, Hacks can't be beat.
Okay, so I was going to pick just one but couldn't , so those are my three favorite tales by Knight. With an honorable mention to the perfectly structured "Midnight Blues". So what about you guys?

I agree. Broken Angel is at the top of the list, as is King of Souls.
I have Hacks, but it's in storage, along with a list of others. Sex, Death & Honey is up there, though. Fantastic read.

Oh yeah, Sex Death & Honey was a wonderful novel that really showed a different side of Knight as a writer. I would love to see this one launch a series.

I have two personal favorites. BROKEN ANGEL is one of my all-time favorite novels. 1200 AM LIVE is another favorite.
I honestly haven't read a single thing by Brian that I haven't loved.

OH yeah 1200 AM Live is a really great dark little tale. Damn, there's just too many great Knight titles out there to narrow them down.

Agreed. I recently read (and loved) SEX, DEATH AND HONEY and RESERVOIR GODS. Both fantastic, yet vastly different, books. OH yeah 1200 AM Live is a really great dark little tale. Damn, there's just too many great Knight titles out there to narrow them down.

I really have enjoyed all of Brian's writing. His collection DRAGONFLY is excellent as well as the novels and novellas. Of course, for obvious reasons, HACKS is my favorite and also RESERVOIR GODS AND SEX< DEATH & HONEY. I need to reread BROKEN ANGEL.

Dragonfly was an amazing collection. I'm a short story nut, and Knight proved himself to be a master at the form.

My favorite Knight is actually an upcoming book from my cousin Kelly He got tired of me complaining about how hard it is to publish, and decided to prove me wrong. Smart ass.
