Hey guys. Tom has given me the go-ahead to officially mention this. Seems like for the Halloween season this year I'll be releasing a digital chapbook that collects four of my Halloween-themed tales. I'm very excited. One, I love working with Tom and Billie, they are like my fairy god-parents and have really taken a chance on a total unknown and given me great opportunities. I'm also thrilled to finally have something coming out again. Some of you may remember my chapbook from last year, and I have some other things on the burner with SSP but they are all a bit in the future. So this will be something fun to ensure you folks don't forget about me. As a lifelong horror fan, Halloween still holds a special place in my heart. Hell, it's still my favorite holiday, childish as that sounds. Every October I make a point of doing some Halloween-themed reading and writing, and I'm just ecstatic to have my own Halloween-themed project on the go. As of yet it doesn't have a title, but will include the stories "Halloween Returns to Bradbury," "Treats," "The Neighborhood that Halloween Forgot," and "My Last Halloween"(not necessarily the order in which they will appear in the chappy). I can't tell you guys how happy I am to be doing this, and I hope those who read it will find it as much fun as I had writing the stories.

Tom has selected some tales that I think represent a bit of a range in subject matter and approach, but they all have one thing in common: I had a blast writing them.

Billie and I very excited about this one. It's a diverse little collection of tales that celebrate Halloween. From dark to playful, action-packed to subtle, there will be a little something in here for everyone.
Info and cover art coming soon...

Oh yeah, Tom's doing some cover art for me, and I'm a huge fan of Tom's artwork so it always pleases me to have him put his artistic stamp on my stuff.

I don't know kresby, it was a project I proposed to them myself, and digital is the only way we can get it out by the Halloween season. But who knows, I have dozens of Halloween stories, so this may not be my last Halloween-themed project, knock wood.

I'll pop in on this one. I'll explain all of this much more in depth once we officially get our digital line ready to go, but the current plan is to offer the digital books in a very small run of deluxe hardcovers. This one, unfortunately, might be tricky to get out in time for trick-or-treating, but we're definitely eyeing a release down the road. Again, more later once we get ready to roll. COngrats MArk but I hope this also sees a physical release.

Okay, cool, I did not know this. I also want to say that I feel really honored that Tom is trusting me to roll out their digital line.

We have yet to nail down a title. I know you guys haven't read the stories, but if you want to throw out any Halloween-themed title suggestions, they can't be any worse than the stuff I've come up with and suggested.

James, we think a like, that is very much in the vein of some of the suggestions I was throwing out there. I think we may be settling on one, more on that to come.
