Thanks Kresby, glad it brought a smile. And I haven't forgotten that down the road--soon?--we will meet at a con. In any event appreciate your support, my friend. I hope a few more folks take advantage of the good buy over at Sideshow Press for DOUBLEJACK or any of their books really. They deserve to prosper.
Jan, good to see you still kicking and reacting. Gene

I'd like to publicly thank again Mark Gunnells for his most excellent and flattering introduction for DOUBLEJACK. And if you haven't bought a copy from Sideshow Press, please do (support any of their publications). Billie and Tom are two hard working individuals who spend their precious time on Sideshow Press for little more than the love of the books. Please take a look at their catalogue. Thanks all, Gene

As it turns out, a young guy who was indeed the Good Samaritan Rapist worked for my brother-in-law and me when we were in business near San Jose. He wasn't reliable, went back down again to San Quentin. He was 19.

Mark: Someday I will probably be sitting around with cronies, as they buy me drinks for having an intro by the best-selling Mark Gunnells and letting them read it.

Gene, just wanted to say, I finished this a couple of nights ago and really enjoyed it. Nice, tight little thriller. Hated the horrible fat fucker by the end, which is surely a sign of some decent characterisation! Good stuff. Which are the other Green Hornet books so I can check them out?

. . . Which are the other Green Hornet books so I can check them out? The two novels SHADOW OF THE DARK ANGEL and my fave, DEATHFLASH. I highly recommend them both. Jan

Jan's right, Liam. DEATHFLASH is still in print at Bad Moon books, which btw is having a 3-day 25% off sale. Good time to pick up THE BURDEN OF INDIGO, too. Thanks for the support, Gene
