This fall, we will be releasing AND WHEN THE LIGHTS CAME ON... an illustrated collection by British author Frank Duffy. I can't say enough about this guy's work; I truly believe that he will be a big name in the genre in the near future. For those of you who downloaded his novelette MOUNTAINS OF SMOKE, you have an idea what you'll be in for. For those of you who haven't, Frank's prose is beautifully literate, and his use of atmosphere and mood conjures favorable comparisons to that of classic horror writers like Machen and Blackwood. However, the stories' settings and problems are definitely contemporary.
Pre-orders for the limited hardcover will begin toward the end of this month. To make the pre-order for this book a little more irresistible, we'll be offering a free chapbook to those who order. TALES OF GRUESOMENESS is a mock-magazine inspired by Frank's story "Pictures of Terrible Things".
Keep an eye out for our Summer newsletters for more details on this release.

This is a very cool collection and stayed with me for days after I read it. Disturbing, unsettling and downright creepy at times. Fans of Ramsey Campbell will definitely dig this.

Thanks for the interest, guys. Got to say I'm thrilled with the artwork. BUT, just one word about the title. I've now talked with Tom, and we've decided to change the title back to 'The Signal Block and Other Stories.' While I agree with Tom over the choice of the title 'And When The Lights Came On,' quite a number of reviewers and potential customers know the collection as 'The Signal Block....' on account of the manuscript having the title when it was given for review. Sorry for the confusion, but marketing wise it might be best to stick with the original title.
Hope everybody is well.

Hi, Jason.
I was planning on having this one up on September 1st, but the power outage ruined that plan. This one will now be going up later this week.
Thanks!
Tom
