I did not see a comic book section yet. What are you collecting these days?

I don't really "collect" anything, but I am a huge Batman nerd. I'll occasionally pick up a trade paperback compiling a certain series or story arc.
I also enjoy the 30 DAYS OF NIGHT collection. And I've got about half of the PREACHERs.

I actually quit collecting back in the early '90s when I became overwhelmed with all of the new publishers and the constant multiple-cover gimmickry (not before amassing a collection of about 3,000 comics). I've recently been downloading some digital comics on my PSP, and I've been reading KICK ASS!, THE GHOUL, WORMWOOD: GENTLEMAN CORPSE, ZOMBIE VS. ROBOTS, and GROOM LAKE.

I stopped collecting comics in the last year. I still read them but very seldom. I used to collect pretty much anything horror related I could get my hands on. 30 Days of Night, The Darkness, Witchblade...etc.
The latest thing I've read was The Walking Dead but I stopped liking the series about trade #9. I read most of #11 but was pretty disappointed by how the series was going.

Yeah, about the time they got to the prison I lost interest in THE WALKING DEAD. Just became too "soap opera"-y for me. Or something.

Ooo. Forgot about Marvel Zombies. I actually have the first set, and I found them VERY amusing.

One comic that I reacently went back and bought all of the back issue I could find for was FAUST. Tim Vigil has always been a huge inspiration for my art, and I remember being floored by these books when I was in my early teens. Great, nasty stuff.

Yeah, that shit was INSANE. They kept 'em behind the counter, like porn, at my local comics shop back in the day.

The only comic book I have obsessively followed was Neil Gaiman's Sandman. If you love great storytelling and have not read this series, you are missing something exceptionally special!

Dumped my comic collection about 10 years ago and recently began dabbling in graphic novels/comic collections. Buffy and angel, Vamps, Vigil,Necroscope, Tomb of Dracula, Drain, Creepy and Eerie hardcover series(looking forward to the Vampirella series coming from Dynamite), Russ Cochran's hardcover Complete EC horror/science fiction/fantasy series, Zenescope's Neverland, Wonderland, Grim Fairy Tales, and the Batman/Vampire hardcovers. Guess that's more than dabbling. Anybody read American Vampire? Just wondering if I should pick up the hardcover collection.
