Thanks for all the support and kind words, fellas. It's much appreciated.
An update on me...I started physical therapy this week and it seems to be helping. It turns out that I have deranged lumbars that're pushing the disks into the nerves of my spine. No wonder it hurts so damn much, huh? They're deranged alright!
The good news is, it looks like I can finally get back to work!!! Thank the gods.
I appreciate everybody's patience in this. Shit does happen, ya know? But, still, I apologize for the massive delay. I'll try my best to make this particular book worth the wait...I know the fiction part of it already is. :-)
Hang in there...it's coming!!

Mark: I was going to say that Chris's spinal derangement matches his mental condition...but you've already concluded that.
Get well soon, chris. Gene

I get everybody's point who are friends with Tom Moran and support Sideshow--and everybody's right, there's really no point in bitching about something you haven't put money down for-- BUT I also understand Mr. Crowley's frustration in one regard, because I share it, and that's "COMMUNICATION."
A long, long time went by without any updates on the status of the hardcover version, not even a mention in the newsletters, right?
And I, the author, haven't been kept in the loop either (other than the time Tom told me some books are a problem and take longer) and then when Chris made the post about his back being hurt, and then I'm like, "Okay. Now I know what's going on and I hope the dude gets better."
So, yeah, I agree with Mr. Crowley. Communication is vitally important. I know Chris does awesome work and I can't wait to hold "As I Embrace My Jagged Edges," but look back on the communication and was everybody up to speed? I know I wasn't and I should be since I'm the author.
I'd talked to Tom Moran at Rock N' Shock about communication problems in another area regarding my contract and had hoped we wouldn't have a problem again.
I'm not hard to please: send me a contract that works for both of us, pay me, send my royalty statements on a set schedule (like every three months), and let me know why things are on hold if a book is way behind schedule.
Fucking simple.

Communication could be better with most people, but I keep in mind that Tom and Billie are not career publishers, but people with day jobs and children and other responsibilities and Sideshow they do out of a love and passion for the genre. Yes, they should be expected to fulfill obligation and keep people informed, but I also understand and know Tom well enough to know that no one beats himself up over this kind of stuff more. They work hard, and unfortunately shit happens, but I know they care about the books they put out and I will continue to give them my support.
I can understand your frustration Lee, goodness knows I am impatient when I want to hold a book of mine in my hands, but I know Tom and Billie are good people.

Quick update-- I've started to get back on track since injuring myself and finally I feel well enough to get back into the game. So, the picture below is the entire run of the special edition of EDGES, under weight to dry for the night. Tomorrow, I build the boxes and they're done. I'll post pics of the completed project as soon as I can. For those of you that have been waiting patiently for this book, thank you. I'll be done this week. :-) ~C

At this point, if you know me, I would have had a dozen pictures of the final production of this book posted up, but I'm still dealing with a major computer problem and can't get pictures on the machine to upload here.
I took a couple of simple pics with my crappy phone and sent them to Tom, he may be able to at least post those up for me. My apologies in advance for the pics, I would prefer to post much higher quality ones, but, it can't be helped right now.
