Bad Moon Books and Horror Mall Part Ways

As stated Bad Moon Books was terminated this morning from The Horror Mall.

The reason for the termination was for breach of contract under the No-Compete Clause of the Horror Mall Store Owner Agreement. In a nutshell it states that we are not allowed to sell any horror goods outside the Horror Mall Marketplace. In regards to this clause in some instances we are indeed guilty as charged.

I would like to stress that any orders that have been placed with Horror Mall will be taken care of in the manner Horror Mall customers are accustomed to, quickly and efficiently. We have been in the bookselling business for over 30 years and customer service has been our top priority.

We will be updating the Bad Moon Books website and making titles available for sale through the site in the comming days and weeks.

Despite the harsh words in the official announcement from Horror Mall, we have always tried to make our customers needs our top priority.

I think the Bad Moon Gang are going to do just fine whether ya'll are at the Mall or not. Although, I'm sure this is a huge headache for you guys. Hang tough and we'll still be seein' ya around the nuthouse.

Well, it appears from the BMB site that both DEATHFLASH and NOT FADE AWAY are doing well, with 75 copies of NFA pre-ordered.
Not sure how that works with 30 copies coming direct from publisher to WHC in Austin--five of them already committed? We'll see.

We have sold 67 copies of NFA so far, not bad Gene! It should be a sell out though cause this is one heck of a story! There are going to be 30 copies on hand at the WHC that I get to number in the hotel room or the dealer floor when I get there, and Gene's job is to get them into the reader's hands. Which from past convention experiance is not too hard for that guy to do.

Also just a FYI Doc Good is almost sold out with just 5 copies left and Jade is about to follow with a little over a dozen copies. If you are a fan of the Cal Wild universe these are a much needed addition to the collection.
