Just finished Immun3....
What can I say? Amazing little story, the father and son part is heart breaking for me having two sons. I just put myself in the fathers position (I would do the same) and also how the son feels. I don't want to give to much away for those who have not read this yet but who ever you are, you need to get a move on!
Also, the authors note at the end was very interesting. It could very well happen.....
Jason.

How did I miss this?!
Thanks, man. I'm thrilled you liked the story! And I'm glad you dug the afterward bit. There's some scary stuff in there. I'm reading about this Aum Shinrikyo cult now. Heard of them? Crazy mothers amassed a staggering chemical and biological arsenal and tested it right out on the streets. Man, oh man. This world of ours...

Liked it? I think it's your best work (IMO)
Never heard of the Aum Shinrikyo cult. I will have to look it up.
I hope you got some new stuff coming out in 2011.
Cheers Jason.

I read this about a week ago and yeah, this was a beauty. Perfect length to convey a powerful story that hits very close to home. Makes you question all 'natural' disasters and what may really lie at the heart of it.
Remains is still possibly my favourite McBride though, with Bloodletting a very close second.
