Billie and I just arrived back home from picking up the SE lettereds from the binder, and I took just enough time to snap some crappy pics before posting. To say that she and I were blown away by the final design would be an understatement. After discussing a general idea and materials, he took the ball and ran with it.
This is a picture of the boxes, all bound up with their fasteners. This idea evolved out a tent-flap vibe, hence the use of the striped fabric and black elastic fasteners. This next shot shows the box opened. The front flap folds down displaying the original painting mounted on the inside of the panel. The top folds back revealing the book. This is looking down into the open box. For this edition, we chose to bind the book in a red Japanese mohair cloth. The lavender polkadot endpapers. The special pearlized signature sheet.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
Now if I remember rightly, this was priced very very well. Why did'nt I get one? I do have a limited on layaway but that lettered is something else!
