I just finished Six Feet Under. Damn, that was such a good show, and part of me is just distraught that it's over. What did you think of the last episode? Talk about finality. There is no way there will ever be a sequel to that, a great culmination to a great series.

Now there was an ep a few before that involving a certain funeral that really had me crying, but yes the unique ending they gave it, which made me feel that I actually got to be with these wonderfully complex people their entire lives, was so moving. A wonderful show and I'm sad it's over.

Heartbreaking stuff, totally believable. J.N. That's what did it for me in that ep too James. And the ending, with that music. So beautiful...I have chills right now thinking about it.

Watched Survival of the Dead. Decent. Of Romero's more modern zombie flicks, I am actually a huge fan of Land of the Dead, think it's intelligent and compelling. However, Diary of the Dead I thought was atrocious, almost unwatchable. Survival was definitely an improvement on that.

Finished S/1 of Doctor Who. I'm very much enjoying this series. Captain Jack Harkness arrives in around Ep 9 FYI, Mark.

Oh, one more comment about Survival of the Dead...I hate hate HATED the overuse of some really bad CGI effects. That first "head blown off" shot and the "heads on sticks"...so bad. I don't know why people think CGI is so great, it looks just as (and in some case) more so than those stop-motion animation effects that were once used. Where's Tom Savini when you need him?

A movie called House of 9. Not the most original concept, but I thought it was very well executed with an interesting mix of characters and decent performances. I also liked the jab of an ending.
