For those who did not cash out, I have great news! Your lifetime subscription has been picked up and resumed by KWP. You will receive the same number/letter as you had with FMP! This offer only applies to those who had a subscription paid for in full and have not been reimbursed in cash or books. Those who had a subscription that was partially paid and not reimbursed, you will receive books in value up to the amount paid. I know they aren't offering trade editions.....but there's @ least one lifetime trade subscriber (me) who'd like to get something out of their hard earned money. I realize it was only several hundred dollars ( a mere bag of shells for those of you that got burnt on the lettered sub). One trade copy of Carmilla for $350 seems a bit rich........

Well, between Zach's comments and the research done by dringlish, there is now little doubt that KWP is just Full Moon under a new name.

"When I look up ownership information for the King's Way Press website on whois.com, it gives me the address, phone number and email address for Paul Little.".......................What more proof do you need?

More and more it seems there is dodgy business going on...and if there ain't, it just goes to show that it's better to source new submissions than to take over a complete 'upcoming releases' list from any business with a dodgy name...

I received this from Zach:
I have never tried to deny a past history with Paul nor would I. For those who think that I am somehow a "made up" person, that requires a level of insanity that I can't comprehend. After all I made my appearance 2+ years ago while working on the wildman. So let me guess: Paul made me up 2+ years ago so that if FMP failed he could restart using me as a front. Pretty crazy that seems. These same people probably think Barack Obama was born in Kenya or that Dick Cheney blew up the World Trade Center. As for the mix-up with the artwork, I was under the impression that Paul had squared things with Zach McCain and until Zach sent me an email, I did not know otherwise. I promptly took care of things. As for those trying to make a "website" connection: I did ask Paul to help set up a website, since he is far more computer literate than I. Since he did not have my credit card # at the time he set things up he entered his information because he had to use HIS card. I later repaid him. I didn't have a clue that that would automatically put the WHOIS information under his name. I am working to get that fixed now. The thing is: those who want to believe and spread lies will. So be it. Let the sock puppets speak. The main thing is that I have reached arrangements with most of the former and uncompensated FMP members and 99% of them seem to be more than happy that they will receive their first KWP title THIS month-in fact very shortly. So if the customers are happy and the first book is sold out, what remains to be seen is if KWP can continue that momentum and deliver the goods. If when our second title that is coming up shortly sells just as fast and the customers are happy, I don't think anything else will be of concern. All I ask for is an open mind and a chance to deliver my first few titles-then we will gauge public reaction and I will welcome any and all critics.
Sincerely, Zach

Maybe Zach should turn up here himself and make a statement rather than using proxies we know were/are in Paul Little's pocket? Seeing as a large majority of his potential customers frequent here, it seems to me that the future of his business should take precedence over 'not wanting to waste time on forums'?
Likely, as it seemed he made up a 'new owner' (Jason Stallingsworth, I think it was...lol)...
Um, great way to make us think you're a professional, dude...did you forget that it may be a good idea to actually confirm shit like this, or is it due to the fact that Paul is still in charge and he/you didn't think it necessary?
Well, we all know that the real sock puppets are relaying your words (second-hand, of course) to us here... I know he (Paul) made you a lifetime trade member, Jason, as well as some other bonuses, but do you really need to sell your soul and help him promote his con?

I can verify dringlish' findings . I also began looking for Zach Powell on Facebook (no info without friending). I then checked out Myspace and found a 19 year old Zach Powell from Dallas, Georgia. Not a lot of info there without jumping through hoops. Might not be our Zach, maybe only a coincidence. Seems like it would have been better PR if Zach and King's Way would have laid everything out at the beginning of this thread instead of responding bit by bit as info is brought to light. Going to pass on this and see what happens. Hope I'm wrong, but my gut feels like Dezm and Brian's.

Ok, let's get a few things cleared up here eh Geoff? Cause I didn't sign up for this shit! 1. I paid for a FMP trade edition, not the full price but I did pay some money. And I paid for three lettereds (full price) And no, I had no 'bonuses' you speak of. Why don't you tell me what they were since you know so much? 2. I will give anyone a chance and will not run with the sheep, I am intitled to my own opinion the same as you. 3. Geoff, people in glass houses should not throw stones. Sock puppet? You should know all about that. CCP,Sideshow Press and Full Moon Press were publishers you were involved with, whether it be reviews or as I have read before, PROMOTIONS. 4. As I said in a previous post, I couldn't give a shit if it is Paul. This seems like a chance for me to get something back and I will take anything. No one is perfect Geoff, for someone who loves Horror fiction, you should no better than to order books and not pay for them and get thrown off Horror Mall. That does not help the genre, I'm disapointed Geoff, I thought you were a friend.

Let's not make this personal Geoff. I think Jason was just posting what zachs response was and not acting on his behalf. I hope that all those who were screwed by Paul little are able to recoup the money they lost but I think KWP has alot of issues for a publisher just starting out. Maybe zach does exist and maybe he doesn't but his comments and excuses remind of the FMP fiasco.

Jeez, why reprint FRANKENSTEIN? I picture pitchforks and torches while reading this thread.
The anger toward a new (stitched together?) press that appears to be trying to help people who thought they lost their INVESTMENT (a risky venture for sure) doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Okay, I've always wanted to do this... I think this thread has run its course...Seriously, I'm not a big fan of locking threads, but I think that this one is beginning to spiral out of control. I can certainly understand the frustration and suspicion, but I honestly don't want to see members attacking each other (especially ones who have always played well in the past). I think that we have to draw a line somewhere. T Edit: Unlocked after a good friend of mine made made fun of me for being too much like the admin of another horror board we all know and love.

That does not help the genre, I'm disapointed Geoff, I thought you were a friend. Okay. Let's also set some things straight. 1. I was 'led to believe' by a certain little publisher that you were given a trade membership and cheaper lettered editions in regard for your constant praise and encouraging people to order FMP stuff. If you did it for less, you still did it often and vocally. 2. No need for me to comment on this, as everyone can see your game in regard to KWP. 3. CCP and SSP put out some great stuff. I only reviewed each FMP book as they came out, never encouraging people to pre-order unreleased ones like someone I could mention. 4. Yes, that makes perfect sense...we can't call out a dodgy business if it ruins your chances of getting something, can we? And in regard to unpaid orders, that's something that ended up outside my control, unlike people who continue to praise up a bad business with full knowledge of what they did. Feeling a bit defensive, mate?
