My lettered is on the way. Loved this story...a much darker Mike than we are used to. But then again, I'm currently reading Brood XIX, and am detecting a disturbing trend... Amazing how you can wipe out the world in books, but once you harm a single child, it takes on a whole new outlook (so killing them the world over is OK...lol) Mike knows, I hope, that as long as he writes them, I'll be reading them.

Brood is another one that goes right for the heart and rips it out.

Yeah, just finished it last night. Another winner from Mike. Can build the characters and situations that drag you through the same emotions of the characters. Great stuff.

Any idea if Innocents Lost will be released as a digital edition? I'm suitably intrigued now

I'd imagine since the hardcovers are sold out now, it shouldn't be too much longer before the digital version comes out. I don't know anything specific, though. I'm thrilled, and somewhat surprised, to see that the reactions to the book have been so positive. It's not the kind of story that makes one feel warm and fuzzy. Thanks to all who've read it. You guys are the best!

Michael, I don't need warm and fuzzy, I need stellar writing, and that is what you delivered here. Very powerful fiction that never tried too hard to be powerful. It was gut-wrenching and painful, but exhilirating in the skill shown. It's the kind of effortless writing that makes a fellow writer excited and envious. :-p You have a new lifelong fan here.

Thanks, Mark. You rock. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. It's always a great feeling to hear from another author that you've done something right.
Maybe one of these days there'll be a paperback release...

I've already added a few others to my collection for future reading.

Mark: Mike has a pair of novels in the pipeline that are better than anything he has done. Watch for them--not long now. Gene
