Just a note to let everyone know we were hacked today. Some sort of weird Russian shell code infected the site. We have fixed the problem ...there is still a warning in place. I requested a review from Google. Apparently it takes about 30 seconds of getting hacked to get ON their list, but several days to get back off. If you ignore the warning, you can still get to the store, and the malware is gone. Sorry for any problems this might cause. In the meantime, our titles are still available through Amazon & Smashwords.com
Thanks for your patience.

Thank you for being honest and up-front about it.

There's no danger in it to anyone. All our sales are through secure paypal payments, no data is stored on the site except files for the books...we should have it completely fixed in a few hours...I just wanted people to know we were aware and working on it.

Yes, but it means a lot to me. Many companies would try to sweep it under the rug for nobody to know. And as you've pointed out, there is nothing to worry about since payments are through Paypal.

Yeah, well, I'm a sort of up-front kind of guy. I'd rather everyone hear about a problem from me first. With that in mind.
Everything is fixed. Late last night Google re-scanned the site and helped us ferret out the last of the bad code, and then still later they pronounced us clean. Darren McKeeman, the guy who helps me with the heavy-lifting on code, found and plugged the vulnerability in the site, so it won't happen again (at least not that way). Onward!

Thanks. in case anyone noticed a lingering warning at the top of the store pages today, when we restored from our backup, it removed the proper permissions for two files. The site caught it and flashed that warning to change permissions, which I did this morning.
Onward!
