Got an email about the new chap book line by Sideshow. I like the new 2 books at a time thing. I'm gonna hold back for the hardcovers if there are any available when the time comes. A couple of weeks I think? I missed out on the first lot and man did I kick myself when I saw them Jason.

Hi, Jason!
I'm glad people appreciate the two-book deal. We're trying to make this launch fun and affordable, and buying both at the same time is a much better deal (and you're getting some fantastic fiction, too!)
The first set of hardcovers will go up in two weeks. Instead of offering all six in a set, we will package them in groups of two. Each two book set will be cloth-bound, stamped, and will come in a slipcase. This should allow more discriminate readers the ability to pick and choose a bit more, but still keep with the spirit of the whole "set" idea. We will be doing a slightly larger run on these--30 instead of 26--so that will allow for some people who missed out on the first set to hop on board.
Hope that helps!
T

I'm sure the two at a time is much appreciated by many, Tom. Nice decision.

Thanks! I'd be embarrassed to admit the amount of thought and discussion Billie and I put into how to launch these. ;D I'm sure the two at a time is much appreciated by many, Tom. Nice decision.

T Hopefully I am not seeming too impatient, but will those of us who got in on the first run have first dibs when they are announced? Or should I be sitting by my computer, waiting for the announcement?

I have to get the list from Debra or Larry as at that time they were sending out all of our books. Don't worry, I'll put you on the list!!! And BTW, thanks for joining the board...great to see another familiar face.

Billie: As I've said elsewhere I'm excited about the chapbooks and can't wait to get my hands on F & G. You guys are doing excellent work, and as a writer I appreciate it. Hope the readers feel the same. Gene

Terrific.

I was one of the lucky ones who ordered the first set of HC chaps from HM.
