I sent Tommyboy a couple of pics to post, but in his technological prowess, he managed to delete them before he could post them. lol Luckily, I fixed my computer today, so I can now post some up. :-) Here's we go, the final production of As I Embrace My Jagged Edges, the book and dust envelope- [/img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v333/TheChedMan/EDGES_2-2.jpg Again, my apologies for the massive delay on these, but I hope the final production makes it worth the wait. :-) The were shipped out today, so Tom and Billie should have them by Saturday. ~C

I hafta say, the pictures do not do this work justice. I'm thrilled with the workmanship, the art, the whole damned thing! If Lee keeps going the way he has, this book is sure to be a collector's item. And I have one of only a very few. The packing of the book was terrific too! Thanks Tom & Billie.

Chris, I rarely get excited over the workmanship of a book, but once I opened this baby up, I have to say, I got excited. The sleeve isn't what I was expecting. It's more like a box with velcro seals. And the binding and the textured pages in the beginning and end of the book are great. Even my partner, Catherine, who never gets turned on by my collector books thought it was a terrific job.
There isn't anything I dislike about this. It's a grand job and worth the wait. Good job to every one involved.

Good job to every one involved. Wow. Thanks, man. The box is unusual, for sure. It's not a slip case and it's not a dust jacket, that's why I call them dust envelopes. :-) They help protect during shipping and on the shelf, plus it gives a little extra room to add a little more artwork. I like making them because I think it adds a little extra value to the edition, but it normally doesn't cost anything extra to make for the customer. It's a win-win. It makes me very happy that you liked it. After having so much trouble getting these put together, I'm glad I was able to make the production worth the wait. Of course, I just built the books, Lee wrote a wonderful story and Tom managed the excellent artwork...most of the design we came up with together and it all gelled nicely. :-) I appreciate the compliments. Sincerely. ~C

Doug, your post just made my day. Billie and I are both stoked that you liked it. When I opened the box of EDGES and paged through my first copy, I was floored. Chris nailed that antiquated story book look perfectly. And I think you'll find the story to be very deserving of the star treatment.
Again, thanks!
Tom
