The final installment of this go around of chapbooks for Sideshow happens to be my chapbook - THE UNUSUAL EVENTS OF A SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT BIG K'S TRUCK STOP AND FINE DINING EMPORIUM - A MONEY RUN TALE. (Imagine my disappointment when I realized that getting paid by the word didn't include the title.)
The deluxe hardcover for this edition is now available and is a very limited edition. It's bound in really fancy-schmancy material and contains a bonus story, SON OF...A BITCH. This story originally appeared in the BLOOD LITE II anthology the HWA puts out. However, the Sideshow edition contains the uncensored version - the only place it will be available. It seems the mass-market publisher was a little afraid of law suits, and made me substantially change the story for their edition.
Because I want these read, I've worked out a deal with Sideshow for free stuff to the lucky few who order the remaining copies. Everybody who orders will receive a free copy of the electronic collection THE MONEY RUN: A FIELD GUIDE, which contains all the previous Money Run stories and a bonus novelette, GETTING WARMER.
In addition, for one lucky (or not-so-lucky, depending how you look at it) order, I'll personally throw in a deluxe hard cover version of my collection of POSTCARDS FROM PURGATORY - that's a $50 value right there.
With how few copies are still available, the chances of scooping up two of these books for the price of one are actually pretty damn good.
