Did anyone catch that French show 'The Returned' that aired last night (it was on either Ch 4 or BBC 4 over in Blighty, I think) - it was meant to be pretty good - zombies, ghosts and Lynchian weirdness, or so the write up seemed to convey.

Okay - I watched it. It's aired on Channel 4 and it's utterly brilliant. Artful, slow build, supernatural psycho-drama with one creepy ass kid in it. For those who can (check the 4OD sight, perhaps), make sure you watch it. The opener provides so many questions I'm desperate to have answered, but I heartily recommend it.

Yes, I absolutely loved it - really great stuff. Although I hope the second season answers a few more questions...
The soundtrack is ace, too.

Yeah, whew, what a first season. Just such an elegant show that doesn't talk down to its viewers. Looking forward to the second season, although I hope it doesn't go the way of Lost, where it felt like the producers were dragging out and making it up as they went along.
The soundtrack is ace - I used to love the band Mogwai when I was a kid. Haven't listened to their albums in years.

Yeah, I'm hoping it won't be like Lost. I loved the first season, but they could maybe have answered a *few* more questions...
