Well I thought I'd snuck in at the last minute and got myself down for a couple of copies, but if it's been extanded then maybe I can sneak in for a couple more.
I've been sitting here holding a copy of the trade in my hand for a little while now, I like the feel of it and recon it's gonna look great in a hardcover. While I've not read it yet, the cover and my own bookish 6th sense tell me this is going to be one hell of a great read.
I'm gonna say folks should dig deep on this one and pick up a special limited edition. You lot must have saved a bunch of cash by now getting your little ebooks things and shit so have a splurge and get something worthwile. It's time for an investment on an authors first novel.
You did that on purpose!!! Now I don't know whether to get the SC or HC....... Again
Ahahahahahaahaaaaa
I just got to thinking that there's just some things worth having. You know cause there seems to be an influx of various editions of books coming out these days and it's all getting a bit fucked up. You know like back in the day a hardcover would come out first and fucks who didn't want to lay down the bucks would have to wait for a trade or a paperback, then that little kindle bitch came along with his ereader friends and all of a sudden, you got kindle out before trade and trade out before hardcover and you don't know where you stand no more.
I ain't mister big pockets fat was so I used to just get the cheapest version of a book for the store cause I recons like me a lot of folks just want to read the story, but I got paperbacks falling out my ass over here now and I'm feeling like I need something hard once in awhile. So I thought fuck it, I met Erik, I liked Erik so I'm letting him into my small circle of folks I want in hardcover. Add to that the fact that it's Bad Moon Books and I met Roy and Liz and I liked Roy and Liz so I want to give some money to Roy and Liz.
Also if books two and three come along and don't make it hard, just think back to Delirium and the first book in McBrides God's End trilogy, sure it would have been nice to get a whole set but I didn't cry too much when it didn't happen. Also just think of it this way, if there ain't enough fuckers reaching down deep to lay some smack on a hardcover... do you really think there would be a high enough demand for the second and third to come out in hardcover?
I'll be sending you an email later today anyways sweep with the price for the softy and that Vegas info you wanted, so you can thin kabout it and let me know if you want me to stick you down for one.
