Hi Folks,

Just wanted to start the ball rolling on a short story collection that Gene O'Neill and I have put together. Several years back, we released a short chapbook of stories called WHILE THE CITY SLEEPS through Cullen Bunn's Undaunted Press. I have no idea how many actual copies of the chapbook sold but I'm guess it wasn't very many. The great thing about this new digital revolution is that we have a second chance to release these stories and Cullen was good enough to give us the rights back so we could give it a try.

Fast forward to this year's World Horror convention in Austin, Texas, and Gene and I met a nice German fellow named Guido Henkel who is very knowledgeable about all this new digital technology (something that neither Gene nor myself are in the least) so we've teamed up with him to breathe new life into this project. The result is a new collection called MEAN STREETS: Tales of Urban Terror, and it contains three additional stories that weren't included in the Undaunted Press version, one of which, LORD RAT, is orignal to this collection and has never been read by anyone before. Toss in a great introduction by Kealan Patrick Burke and an afterword on collaboration by Gene and I, and we hopefully have a collection that will interest most of you.

I'll have more info soon, and I'll try figure out how to post the cover art here too, but for now I just wanted to give you a heads up. This collection should be available soon as an affordable ebook in all the various formats.
