Hey, all.
Well, after a fairly ambitious 2010, we faltered a bit during the beginning of 2011. After meeting or beating most of our deadlines, we ran into some severe production issues that caused some major publishing constipation. At one point, we had four books at the printer/ binder, and nothing to ship. Frustrating? Yeah, a little.
However, we are finally getting back on track and catching up to our original 2011 schedule. POISONING EROS is FINALLY shipping, and I think those who plunked down the coin will find the story (and design) worth the wait.
The next book in our chapbook series, David Greske's A FISTFUL OF ZOMBIES, is available in trade paperback and the hardcover will go up for pre-order this weekend.
Mark Gunnells' collection, TALES FROM THE MIDNIGHT SHIFT just arrived, and links will be going out this week.
As for what's on the horizon, James Newman's much anticipated (and very delayed!) REVENGE FLICK! is with the printer and will be shipping out in two weeks. The last two books in the series, THE UNUSUAL EVENTS OF A SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT BIG K'S TRUCK STOP AND FINE DINING EMPORIUM by Sam W. Anderson and THREESOME by Ray Garton will be out shortly after that (more on that this weekend).
The hardcover edition of BREAKING EGGS by Kurt Newton and L.L. Soares, with extra art, story, and comical afterward, will go up for pre-order at the end of this month. Those who enjoyed the trade will love this definitive edition of the book.
Finally, the first deluxe edition for our digital series, Lee Thompson's AS I EMBRACE MY JAGGED EDGES, will go up for pre-order next week. We're already working on this one, and we're treating it as an affordable lettered edition. These books will be bound by Christ Hedges, will contain color illustrations, an artist page with original sketch, and will be limited to only 25 copies. Bound in premium materials, the books will come in one of Chris' awesome dust envelopes.
So, folks, the SP train is definitely back on track! My SINCERE (and I mean it) thanks to those readers and authors who have patiently waited for these releases.
All the best,
Tom
