BMB announced DEATHFLASH will be shipping on the 23rd. Some copies not pre-ordered. There are four chapters on heroin addiction--Ripping & Running, Scoring, Using, and Kicking. I don't think they are like anything you've read before--at least from a medical viewpoint. Street stuff that I researched first hand, while my son was working at Walden House in SF. Anyhow, I think I've worked them seamlessly into the story. But a caveat, I am indeed grinding an axe about a problem that concerns me here. Gene

I hope to read it before Austin WHC. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Also congrats on the upcoming limited hardcover treatment of Taste Of Tenderloin. I'll be in for a copy!

Thanks Bob and John. Always appreciate your support and reactions. It appears that BMB will try and have NOT FADE AWAY out in time for WHC in Austin, coming up soon. Gene

Finished it. Good read, but all the drug info was depressing.

Thanks for the feedback, Bob. The drug chapters were tough to write. See you in Austin? Gene

Thanks, Bob. I hope that the 30 copies get there direct from the printer. I hope folks haven't forgotten DEATHFLASH with NFA coming out so soon on DF's heels. Looks like more copies of NFA have been pre-ordered than copies of DF sold (assuming I'm reading stats on BMB site correctly). Anyhow, thanks to all for the support. Gene

I finished this one this morning and so far, you have pretty much a perfect batting average with me, Geneo. I'm really diggin' the Cato and Green Hornet stories. Now the Cal Wild stuff will probably always remain my favorite, just because that's my favorite type of stories, but this one was not disappointing in the least. I really enjoyed it. :-) Good work......again. :-)

Thanks Chris for the kind words. I'm glad you liked DEATHFLASH. Have you read SHADOW OF THE DARK ANGEL? DF isn't sold out but I think SHADOW might be hard to come by now. I know you've read DOUBLEJACK, which has just been released and is actually the prequel to the two novels. Gene
