Ah, good question. I meant to bring that up in the opening thread. For folks to post up titles they're looking for too.

God of the Razor - Joe Lansdale, Subterranean, looking for the slipcased edition, not the trade Good luck getting that, Bookie. I'd love to help you, but me and my Lansdale collection, well...we're not going to be separated. And speaking of Lansdale, I really need to get together a list of the remaining books I need to fill out the holes.

I haven't got many Lansdale books, sadly, but I DO have #01 of the signed limited of Bad Chili. Great book, BTW. :-)

Grown a bit since then. And yeah, I realise these are not in an appropriate spot. Sadly, my Bad Chili is not #1 (obviously)

That's awesome. I've seen a lot of those books around here. Especially the MOJO Press titles out of Austin--I live a few miles from Austin. I really should start picking them up when I see them. Nice collection, though. Impressive. :-)

Here's Joe holding a copy of our old rag Insidious Reflections. It's opened to one of the stories we published of his and the artwork is by, Mr. Tom Moran. :-) He was at the table next to ours at Killercon. Great guy and great family to boot.

I love Lansdale and have really lucked out in getting the books I want for prices I can afford, including recently Waltz of Shadows, the Batman novel he did and Texas Night Riders. I'm still looking for a reasonably priced Something Lumber This Way Comes.

I never knew you guys published "Down By the Sea Near the Great Big Rock." That just happens to be my single favorite short story of all time! Joe's great, isn't he? I was a guest at a convention in Nashville, TN a couple years ago, and got to sit on several panels with him. I felt like dropping to my knees, a la' WAYNE'S WORLD, and crying, "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!" Anyway . . . that's awesome. J.N.

This has become a Lansdale loving thread, but the man deserves it. And James, I am right with you on the Alice Cooper moment, if I ever met Lansdale I'd probably be unable to speak...and possibly wet myself a little.

My biggest regret: He invited me to lunch with his family, and I didn't go. Not sure why. I think I was just scared I wouldn't babble incoherently, or be too shy to speak the whole time. I've regretted that ever since. J.N.

YOU DIDN"T GO OUT TO LUNCH WITH HIM YOU IDIOT! Seriously, I'd have been scared too, afraid I'd gush like a teenager meeting Justin Beiber or just say nothing.
Usualyl when I'm searching for a book, it's a Lansdale. I have lucked out, but as I said if anyone has an old copy of Something Lumber This Way comes they want to sell or trade...I don't care the condition, as long as it's readable. Just let me know, and I'll see if I can afford it.

You wouldn't have a problem. ~C

Well, of course we didn't published it first, but he threw us a bone. Yeah, great story. :-) We also published his short story Dog, Cat and Baby in that issue as well.
