Finished The Black Train by Edward Lee this afternoon, very good book. I was wondering how much difference between this book and the original (Gast) ? Going to read Terminated by Simon Wood next.

Having read both versions, it's safe to say that virtually all of the demented sex scenes in Gast were cut from the MMPB version. Otherwise, they are almost identical!?

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Wonderful classic. I love that book! Like many people I read that as an adult and trying like hell NOT to envision Karloff. He was just so iconic it's damned near impossible. Another classic you may want to check out if you haven't already is H.G. Wells' The Invisible Man. An expertly done descent into madness story. Several years ago I went on a binge and read a bunch of his books and I have to say that none of them disappointed me.

I currently have 3 books going. One Second After by William Forstchen, Midnight Graffiti (antho), and The Hides by Kealan Patrick Burke. I read The Turtle Boy the other night and could not put it down. I know, it's a series, and I'll most likely end up eating my words for what I've said in the past about series stories, but I'm really digging the Tim Quinn character.

ok finally at the half way point in Memories of Ice (about 510 pages to be exact) and on the Last story of Skipp's Zombies... so i need to start another antho... either Dark Faith, Tales of the Mountain State 1, or maybe Hautala's new collection... I'm leaning toward Mtn. State as its a slim book.

Finished Sideshow by William Ollie last night. A overall enjoyable read. Also finished Scratch by Brian Keene today and liked it. Old fashioned giant monster fun. CD did a great job with this one despite the delays.
