Firefly is all too brief, but brilliant. YOu'll have to watch the movie Serenity to close out the story.
I watched Let the Right One In today, very good movie. Wonder if the American version will ruin it?

Feeling nostalgic, I watched Child's Play. I remember going to see that opening weekend at the Capri theater when I was young. I loved it back then, maybe because I'd had a My Buddy doll and found it really creepy, even flung it out of my bed once because I didn't like the way it was staring at me. Watching Child's Play now though, it's just mondo silly. Rendered even more so becasue they are taking it so seriously.

Watched Child's Play 2, and I have to say, these days I find it more enjoyable than part 1. Doesn't take itself quite so seriously, a bit more fun. It's still just so ridiculous when they show Chucky "attack" someone. I'm like, he's a freakin' doll, for Christ's sake, just punt him across the room.

Watched four more episodes of Firefly. Really enjoy watching this series, can't figure out why I never watch this when it originally aired.

Watched a movie last night called Feed. Has anyone else seen this? It is on Netflix. Don't say I didn't warn you though... it is messed up. Loved Feed thought the premise was a little shaky, but it didn't detract from the utter awesomeness of it. One of my favs

A brilliant show with some of the best character work on television. I refused to watch it because FOX jumped the episodes around and because it replaced one of my favorite kick-ass shows, Dark Angel. I did pick up the DVDs of the series and the movie of Firefly and enjoyed the hell out of it. FOX SUX and should have given both shows a chance, but....

Over the weekend I watched a music DVD about the recording of Number Of The Beast. I don't know. 2010 just seems to be more a musical year than a reading year for me. Oh well. It is what it is. Anyway, it was a whole behind-the-scenes of the recording of one of metal's greatest albums. It was from 2001 and Clive Burr had just been diagnosed with MS. Shame. One of metal's great drummers. I hate to see a musician go through that.
DVD kicked ass, though.

Date Night. Amusing, but not roll-on-the-floor funny.
