Chris, as soon as we get the books, we'll put pictures up. I actually spend three hours last night printing out address labels, putting boxes together, tearing off two sheets per book of bubble wrap, and generally getting everything to go, so when we get the books, they'll be shipping within a day. I can't wait to see them myself!!! Only 2 sheets of bubble wrap? Really excited about this! You and Tom have to live up to your cool books you have been doing (i'm glad you don't do dust wrappers). Just a genral question. How much input did Insideous Publications have on this one or is it your's and Tom's idea for the style of the book? Tom and I worked on this back and forth for a long time, bud. Tom had always been the artist for the book, he was the one we contracted to do it for IP. When SSP took over, he redid the cover for the paperback and came up with the stamping image for the hardcover. The interior is basically the interior you would have seen if it would have been an IP book, though some of the art and the signature sheets were revamped. The layout had been done for quite some time before IP tanked, so we just used it. Why let it go to waste? The endsheets were also what you would have seen in an IP book...hell, I dropped them off myself at the binder's shop. The hardcover cover materials and slipcase design were all Tom. So, this was a pretty good collaboration between the two of us. Hope that answer's your question. I don't think I left anything out. ~C

I received mine, looks good, I will probably read it this weekend. Only thing I thought a bit odd was the page number placement. I would have thought middle or outer margin, not the inner page.

Yeah, the page numbers. lol Tom and I discussed that. IP always did something different with the placement. This one was kind of out there. We talked about moving them, but decided it wasn't the worst thing that could have gone wrong in the HUGE list of things that went wrong while trying to get the book out. (I say that meaning the demise of IP) I love the overall design, and I will stand by that for sure. That was an IP design issue, not SSP. I just wanted to make that clear. Besides, once you start reading the story, you won't need page numbers...'cause you won't put the book down, you'll not need to go back to a page. Unless it's page #01 to read it over again. :-) I'm very happy with how TWH turned out and my deepest gratitude goes out to Tom and Billie for taking this project forward and into the light. I love you guys. :-) ~C

Oh it's not a problem, just thought it was a little odd. As far as not being able to put the book down? Ummmm two year-old. Need I say more? It will be nighttime reading after he's gone to bed, so we will have to put that to the test.

Still waiting on mine, here in TN?! Let me say this, I despise media mail. The post office treats it like it's a piece of crap. If I had my way, media mail would not be a choice when people order simply because I've had so many problems with packages getting lost and such. According to the post office, it has at least two weeks to deliver media mail to it's destination before I can even lodge a complaint. Some packages get there in three days, others take the entire two weeks. I dropped your order off on the 14th. LOL Maybe I should just drive down there and see if it's sitting in the back room at the post office...

I have found postal mail to be ridiculously unpredictable. I have had someone mail me a book media mail from California on the same day someone from Virgina mails me a book media mail as well. I'm in South Carolina and I got the one from California more than a week than the one from Virgina. Makes no sense.
