A comment about "Table of Contents" for those who might not know. It's the story I wrote recently where I got permission from a bunch of real-life writers--many of whom frequent the Crypt--to use them as characters in the story and basically kill them off.

A bit of background for the story I just posted of Gene's--
The short Shadow of the Dark Angel has never been published, but at the suggestion of Gordan Van Gelder of F & SF, Gene expanded the story and that version was later published by Bad Moon Books.
Gene said, "Your readers might find the 2nd person unusual. I think it adds an unsettling *outer directed* feel to the main character, and I think it works well."
Enjoy the story folks. :-)

Mark: I'm guessing that reading the short story will just whet your appetite for the book. Maybe Walter can react to that. He actually read the book first. Would reading the short story first spoil the book for Mark? Gene
