Sometime in the next few months, I should have the honor of closing out Sideshow's First Cut series. It's a bit daunting, the books by Wright, Martin, and Christopher were all amazing, but I hope mine entertains. It is a collection of two novellas, "Whisonant" and "Creatures of the Light" to be titled WHISONANT. I figured since it inches closer to entering the world I'd share some of the excellent artwork by both Tom Moran and Michael Moran. This is the cover by Michael Moran. Very creepy and atmospheric. Tom decided to do a separate cover for "Creatures of the Light" and the colors here make it stunning, I think. This will be the signature page, art by Tom. Perhaps my favorite I've seen so far from Tom for "Creatures of the Light". I really worried my description of these creatures would not translate, but he took what was in my head and rendered it not only perfectly but even scarier and better. Another stellar piece from Tom for "Creatures of the Light." I couldn't be more pleased with this artwork. I'm so stoked for the release of this book, I can barely contain my excitement.

Looks great Mark. This is very exciting. Those creatures are cool, kind of a cross between a t-rex a giraffe and a spider. Looking forward to reading these.

Appreciate that razz. Hell, the artwork alone is worth the price of admission, but if I say so myself, the stories ain't half bad either.

Very cool looking. Okay, but you gotta tell me, what is the proper way to pronounce the title? :-)

Yes...although to be honest, that's just how I pronounce it in my head. It's a name I read off a tombstone and used for my story, so I may have entirely made up that pronunciation. :-p
