Hey, guys!
Although the blog has gone live, and we have a newsletter going our soon with info and excerpts, I wanted to put a less formal FAQ up on the boards and give people the opportunity to ask questions and--hopefully--to get excited about this series. So, let's get to it.
Q. How many books will there be?
A. There are six in this series, and they are by Gene O'Neill, Erik Williams, David Greske, James Newman, Sam W. Anderson, and Ray Garton.
Q. How will the books be released?
A. They will be released two at at time, and each two-book cycle will team a new author with a more established one? The first two, FIONA AND GRAMS by Gene O'Neill and THE REVEREND'S POWDER by Erik Williams are up for pre-order now.
Q. The books are only available to pre-order together. What if I only want one book?
A. The books will be offered singly for the regular cover price of $13 once the books are ready to ship.
Q. Do I save money by purchasing both books at the same time?
A. Yes, you save about $5 off the cover price.
Q. The last series was numbered 1-4. What about this one?
A. The first book in this series starts at 5. We will continue from there.
Q. I want to keep my numbers from the original series. What should I do?
A. Pre-order them; that is the only way to guarantee you get your number. We can't hold numbers forever, unfortunately!
Q. Will the hardcovers be released as just one big set again?
A. No. The books will be offered in slip-cased pairs. This will give readers more choice in which books to pick up.
Q. Will the hardcovers be the same as last time?
A. No, the second batch will be bound in cloth, stamped, and will come to books to a slipcase.
Q. Are the books signed and numbered?
A. Heck, yeah!
Q. Are they illustrated?
A. Of course! Four illustrations per book plus a fully-illustrated signature sheet.
Q. If I order the first two books, will they ship at the same time.
A. Yes. FIONA AND GRAMS and THE REVEREND'S POWDER are being printed up at the same time.
Did I miss something? Feel free to post and I'll get right on answering it!
