Just received Doug Clegg's Neverland You're in for such a treat, man. Love that novel -- it's one of only a handful I re-read every 3 or 4 years. When you finish NEVERLAND, see if you can hunt down a copy of Clegg's THE CHILDREN'S HOUR, if you've never read that one. It's on my All-Time Faves list -- creepy, creepy stuff. J.N.

I have a few of Doug's books. Most still packed in boxes. I really liked 'Machinery of the Night' but don't recall 'The Children's Hour' though. I'll look for it. Thanks James! ;D

I don't know if this should count but I wanted to complain to some people who would understand. Recently purchased a S/L Delirium of The Rising by Keene. Got it today and my latest treasure ends up being a non-signed, Leisure Books HC edition. Paid way more then its worth. Hows that for a latest treasure? Guess that is why you should always stick to dealing with the people you know and trust.

If you purchased a DB s/l and got something different, can't it be returned? Was this eBay?

I picked it up through Alibris which I rarely use and will probably refrain from using again. The seller listed it as a Delirium 1st, and the pic of it was the Delirium edition as well. I already filed a complaint. We will see where it goes from here. I am mailing it back tomorrow morning. I am hoping to at least get a full refund. Plus the book is not even in the best condition and was just mailed in a Cardboard envelope. No bubble wrap even.

Jonah. I fell for the same scam via Ebay some time ago. I was able to return for a full refund. It was some woman seller. Can't remember her name. My copy actually arrived from BMOC in packaging stating "here is your free gift."

Got home from work to find a package waiting on the porch. I got all excited because I thought finally my copy of James Newman's The Forum was here. Alas, it was a used copy of Blind Voices by Tom Reamy I had ordered. NOt that I'm not happy to have it too, but I'm about beside myself waiting for the damn Newman. GET HERE ALREADY!

My copy actually arrived from BMOC in packaging stating "here is your free gift." Isn't it sad that me knowing others have gotten screwed over for the same thing kind of makes me feel better? The seller (after multiple emails) is willing to give me my money back AFTER taking a 10% discount as a "restocking fee". This 10% fee is way more then the Leisure Hardcover of The Rising is worth anyway and I can't keep the book. What can one do? On a side note, I got an email a little bit ago that my Lettered editions of Trolley and Going Monstering are shipping and should be here any day. I will post pics when they get here.

I'd fight the restocking charge just on principle. They obviously pulled a "bait and switch" on you. I'd definitely make Alibris aware of it.

Received my Nocturnal Emissions lettered already. Nice job, DRP. 5 days media mail from sunny California. Think I'll quit using Priority as I have with some lettered editions and save all that extra $.
