Hey, Mark, thanks for laying away SHADOW. Hope you like it--some interesting 2nd person chapters in it (I think). Also, I just returned from Killercon and I think the next to last copy of SHADOW was purchased. You may have got the last one. Two of the main characters, The Green Hornet and Cato reappear in the soon to be released DEATHFLASH. Thanks again for the support. Gene

It sounds like a killer book Gene, and I'm very intrigued, much as I love the CalWild stories, to read more by you outside that mythos.

Just ordered the follow up to J. L. Bourne's DAY BY DAY ARMAGEDDON, called BEYOND EXILE. The first one kicked major ass so looking forward to more of the same! Steve. On your advice I bought and read DAY BY DAY and also loved it. I have not gotten around to ordering the sequel yet, but must make sure I get it at some stage.

Preordered Gifune's The Living And The Dead from Horror Mall What is this one? I haven't heard about this. It's a Delirium Hardcover Subscription title. I guess subscribers are notified first and then it will be offered on HM a few days later. Keep checking Horrogy.

After spending a frustrating half hour trying to order a couple books from the horror mall, I downloaded a Kindle for a Mac and ordered 7 Scott Nicholson books. Previewed one and read the comments on others. After reading a short story in Ashes, I was hooked!
Okay - eight.

Hey Doug, what was the problem at Horror Mall? I find it's usually a pretty simple process to order there.

I never have a problem ordering from there either. Did you take out a support ticket and ask for help? Responses are very quick.

What I found late last night was when I tried to order Jeff Strand's Gleefully Macabre Tales, the site kept giving me three. So I would try to delete one and everything disappeared. Then I would start over with Gene O'Neil's latest and it was fine, then I added Uninvited's Shadows and O'Neil's disappeared out of the cart. The one time where I got everything and added Jeff's and went to pay, the system said the cart was empty! That was the end of it right there.
I've run into this once before and I left it for a day and it was okay the next time around. I don't usually have a hard time ordering books from anywhere, but last night I just said screw it!
I was also trying not to order any preorders on the same order, but then I wasn't sure if Roy meant that was for any order in the Horror Mall regardless of publisher, or if we shouldn't order preorders and in stock items at the same time from the same publisher.
Anyway, I'm over it. It's not like I won't ever order from HM again. I just had enough of pissing around last night.
