Waiting on World War Z to arrive. Prepaid for HC The Dead Parade by James Roy Daley. Already have the tpb, but this story deserves the HC treatment.

World War Z is a good one. I got a lot of books recently. Two Lee Thomas books, In the Closet Under the Bed and The Black Sun Set, and a book called Pay Phone by Brandon Ford (I have felt the need to support horror authors who are also gay recently, just want to show them a little love since we're few and far between in the genre), also Jade by Gene O'Neill who is just an amazing author. I am really anticipating The Forum by James Newman, I know CD has finally released it...I think. I pre-ordered it through the Horror Mall, so hopefully they will have their copies soon.

World War Z was excellent.
I recently purchased the New Voices of Horror collection with slipcase from Dark Regions. It includes Dark Entities by David Dunwoody, Shades of Blood and Shadow by Angeline Hawkes, Resurrection House by James Chambers and Undertow and Other Laments by Michael Kelly. Also just got in Black Ink Horror #6 and I'm waiting on The Cage by Brian Keene, Scratch by Brian Keene, The Turtle Boy:Peregrin's Tale by Kealan Patrick Burke, Butterfly by Simon Clark, The Forum by James Newman, Monsters by Paul Melniczek, and Dweller by Jeff Strand.

LOVED World War Z, and I didn't think that I would as it was recommended to me by someone who didn't usually read horror (the last book rec'ed by a non-horror fan was TWILIGHT..."You'll love it because it's vampires," she said...).
I have to get me a copy of THE FORUM. I'm so psyched that's out!

Just bought The Well by Jack Cady from Cenitpede Press (been wanting this for a while!) and Gifune's Children of Chaos because Jassen Bailey said it's badass (and I trust his opinion... and I can't really go wrong with Gifune.)

Re: THE FORUM . . . thanks a lot, guys. I can't wait to hear what you think! I'm really excited about this one finally getting into folks' hands. It might just be the most *fun* I've ever had writing, and I'd like to think that shows in the finished product.
Oh, yeah: I *must* get LITTLE THINGS. That's guaranteed to be the best collection of the last few years. No doubt in my mind.

Guess since the demise of the last forum, I've pre ordered Gord's Valley of the Scarecrow lettered and a couple graphic novels: Angel: Immortality For Dummies and Drain Volume 1.
Also joined Mansion House Books Collectors Club: Collector's Edition level. No money up front, so The Chosen- Ed Lee and Masterton's The Sphinx are preordered.

Well I just did NOT buy HEADER 2 lettered edition. In my opinion $300 is too much for what you get even with an original piece of art.
Edit - I changed my mind and ordered one. I forgot this was a novel. THought only a chapbook. Wrong. Maybe still a bit high price but Camelot does nice stuff and the clamshell traycase sounds cool and you get the chappie thrown in with a spot int he case. I'm in.

I constantly forget what I've ordered from week to week. I guess that way I'm not sitting around waiting for certain titles.
This week I've ordered:
Valley of the Scarecrow (limited) Cherry Hill (limited) The Wild Hunt (limited) Dust of the Dead (tp)
