amen to that, the UK still has a surface mail delivery option for folks that live outside of the Europe. If you don't mind waiting 8-12 weeks it's about half of what Airmail is. That is interesting. I've never been given that option when mailing to the UK. I assume you mean that option is available both directions. Nope, the USPS dropped Surface Mail a while ago. I've been able to send chapbooks ($5USD) and novellas ($15USD) with proper protection. Depending on how bored Customs are, the books normally arrive within one week for the UK and two for Australia.
