Last week was really rough, and I pretty much didn't read anything. Today I finally got back into Brian Knight's Feral and am really enjoying the hell out of it. That dude can write!

Picked up Keene's SCRATCH and read it in one sitting. Pretty good tale, not really a novella, it's shorter. Keene can definitely jerk your heartstrings at times, and this one is no exception. Above average novelette, but he has done much better.

Finished Placeholders by John R Little. Good read. I liked it. Now time for bed and read some more of The Corpse King.

Currently reading Gabrielle Faust's upcoming ETERNAL VIGILANCE 3, with Jeff Strand's upcoming WOLF HUNT and Wes Ochse's EMPIRE OF SALT to follow. Also, 2 short story collections.

Finished The Straw Men.... meh start, characters grew on me, WAY over telegraphed the "twist", knew where it was going... still I might hunt down the other two volumes.
Started Shrewsbury's Stronger than Death.

Just finished Bad Night in the Holding Cell by Dennis Latham, okay read. About half way thru Broadway Bounty by Robert J. Randisi and will start reading Half the Blood of Brooklyn by Charlie Huston tonight.

Just finished THE CAGE by Brian Keene. Haven't read anything by him in a while. I really dug this one -- I might even go so far as to say it's one of my favorites from Keene.
Minutes ago I started THE SERVANTS by Michael Marshall Smith.
